The two questions are: is the wall greater than 1.5m tall? and is it supporting a Driveway, House or Boundary?
If you answered Yes to either question then you will need council consent but we are here to help.
The Steps to Consent
That's no issue we help our clients handle this process everyday to make it seamless. Below are some of the key steps we will perform for you to create a turn-key solution.

A Surveyor will visit site to figure out the topography of your property.

A Geotech engineer will perform hand augers to confirm the soil substrate and bearing capacity of the soils.

Structural engineer uses the bearing capacity data from the Geotech Engineer to create a set of structural drawings appropriate to the site.

Submit the Geotech report and structural drawings to the council for building consent.

Wait for Council to review the documents and answer any requests for more information they may have.

Council will send a set of stamped building consent drawings.

We come and build the physical wall.

Get everything inspected, surveyed and as-builted then submit an application for CCC.
