The brief for this project was to create new levels for a social housing develpment and a waterproof channel for an existing overland flow path to be re-routed through the property to a nearby stormwater outlet. The choice of wall here was reinforced block masonry walls with Sika Blackseal to provide the waterproofing required. The walls had to be built right on the neighbours boundary which required temporary shoring and put an emphasis on keeping a tight schedule with only enough section excavated ahead of the blocklayers for a couple of days work to make sure the neighbours property was always supported.
